In the pursuit of peace, we sometimes try to run away from all the depression and drama. Only to find out it follows us.
Eventually, we learn not to run away from anything, but run toward peace.
One step at a time.
Taking a few minutes out of the day to reflect on a consciousness of peacefulness does wonders. Here is a video of just such an encounter.
Psalm 23 (NKJV), with brackets added by Mary Baker Eddy.
“[Divine Love] is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. [Love] makes me lie down in green pastures. [Love] leads me beside quiet waters. [Love] restores my soul [spiritual sense]. [Love] guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for [Love is] with me. [Love’s] rod and [Love’s] staff, they comfort me. [Love prepares] a table before me in the presence of my enemies. [Love anoints] my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the [consciousness] of [Love] for ever.
