It’s impossible to define Christian Science with a personality or human lifestyle. Impossible, I say.
I’ve met healing, morally advanced, insightful, intelligent, active people who know nothing about Christian Science.
To fall into the trap of categorizing Christian Science as if it is a “thing,” only leads to frustration or stupid self-righteousness. Christian Science isn’t a “thing” and it certainly isn’t a person. Christian Science is more so “how” we interpret what we see, feel, hear, touch, experience, and know. It is thought and action governed by Love, Life, Truth, God.
From 21st Century Science and Health, “God doesn’t have a human personality but is the One Person, reflected uniquely by individual ideas, therefore, a very close personal relationship can be felt. Our personal relationship with Principle is higher and grander than human mortal friendship, which requires something outside ourselves and is often selective or exclusive.”
